--Volkswagen AG will commit to investing in the Chinese market, despite concerns the car maker is too dependent on the country, the company's head in China, Ralf Brandstaetter, said in an interview with Handelsblatt.
--"If we don't invest more in the region now, in three years we'll no longer have a role in this important market," Mr. Brandstaetter said, according to Handelsblatt.
--Only those who adapt to the speed of development and become more flexible in China have long-term prospects in the country, he added, Handelsblatt says.
