German oil-and-gas major E.ON SE said Wednesday that it has extended the contract of Chief Executive Leonhard Birnbaum.
The company said Mr. Birnbaum's contract was extended by a further five years and will run until June 30, 2028. He has been E.ON's chief executive since April 2021.
