PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--L'opérateur de télécommunications allemand Deutsche Telekom envisage une fusion avec son concurrent français Orange, rapporte mercredi le site Internet du journal düsseldorfois Handelsblatt, citant plusieurs sources proches du dossier.
Selon les sources interrogées par le Handelsblatt, le projet de fusion est "à un stade précoce", mais un tel rapprochement pourrait créer "d'importantes synergies".
Contactés par l'agence Agefi-Dow Jones, les deux opérateurs n'étaient pas disponibles dans l'immédiat pour commenter ces informations.
A la bourse de Paris, l'action Orange cède 0,1%, à 15 euros, après avoir gagné jusqu'à 2,2%. A Francfort, le titre Deutsche Telekom progresse de 1,6%, à 15,29 euros.
