Jefferson Security Bank Announces Earnings for the Third Quarter and First Nine Months of 2010

President and CEO of Jefferson Security Bank (OTCBB: JFWV), K. Stephen Morris, announced the results of operations for the third quarter ended September 30, 2010. Third quarter 2010 net income was $211,165, $0.73 per share. Net income for the first nine months of 2010 was $660,718, $2.29 per share.

As of September 30, 2010, total assets of the Bank were $270.6 million, loans, net of reserve, were $143.3 million and deposits were $248.3 million. The annualized return on average assets was 0.34%, and the annualized return on average equity was 4.52% for the nine months ended September 30, 2010. At September 30, 2010, net loans to deposits was 57.71% and book value per share was $68.36.
