EDP Renovaveis S/A (EDPR.LB) has won a power purchase agreement to sell the energy produced by a 100 megawatt wind farm project in Mexico, its parent EDP-Energias de Portugal SA (EDP.LB) said Monday.
The contract has a 15-year minimum period and is set in dollars, the company said. Further financial details weren't disclosed.
The wind farm project should begin operations in 2021 and has an expected load factor above 40%, EDP said.
