New Sage Energy Corp. ("New Sage" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:NSG.H) announces the appointment of Lord Simon Reading to the board of directors of the Company to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Douglas Stuve. Mr. Stuve resigned effective April 11, 2012. We would like to thank Mr. Stuve for his contributions to New Sage and wish him success in his future endeavours. Following Lord Reading's appointment, the board is now comprised of John Carlesso, Marc Melnic, Dr. David A. Terry, Marc T. Bamber and Lord Simon Reading. Lord Reading joined New Sage with a prolific career of over 40 years of international experience in the public, private, NGO and philanthropic sectors. Among others, he has been a Member of the London Stock Exchange (1970 - 1974) as well as the House of Lords in the United Kingdom (1980 - 1999). He sat on numerous public and private company boards, including his current directorship with Westminster Oil Ltd., a division of Westminster International Ltd., a British-based security and deference organization. He is also a director of Willow Impact Investment Fund and an advisor to The Great Turk Fund. Lord Reading has been continuously engaged in world-class charitable organizations, including holding a position of Vice Chairman for CURE International UK Ltd. and Trustee of Care for the Children, China.
