Board of Director Nominations

Altai Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ATI) (US SEC Rule 12g3-2(b) File # 82-2950)
("Altai" or the "Company") announces that on May 29, 2013 it received notices
from two shareholders purporting to provide advance notice of director
nominations for the Company's annual and special shareholders' meeting to be
held on June 28, 2013. One shareholder purported to nominate himself and three
other individuals and the second shareholder purported to nominate one other
individual. 


Under the Company's recently adopted advance notice by-law announced on April 9,
2013, a nominating shareholder's notice to the Company must be made and received
not less than 30 days prior to the date of the meeting, such that the last day
for advance notice to be received by the Company was May 28, 2013. Accordingly,
the notices received by the Company on May 29, 2013 were not received within the
time required under the by-law and therefore the nominations will be
disregarded.


In connection with the annual and special shareholders' meeting, the Company has
nominated the following individuals for election at the meeting: Niyazi Kacira,
Didier Pomerleau, Mehmet Taner and Jeffrey Ackert as set out in the Company's
management information circular dated June 4, 2013 and filed on SEDAR at
www.sedar.com on June 5, 2013.


Dr. Kacira has been a director of the Company since February 1987 and is the
Chairman of the Board. Dr. Pomerleau and Dr. Taner have been directors of Altai
since June 2008 and June 2012 respectively. Mr. Ackert, a new director nominee,
is a consulting geologist, a director and VP Business Development and
Exploration of a public resource company, and director and VP Exploration of
several private resource companies.
