Two Scotiabank Kids' Community Hockey Teams to Participate in Draft Combine

TORONTO, Dec. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - To celebrate Scotiabank's support of helping one million kids and counting through community hockey programs, the Bank is surprising two sponsored teams with the opportunity to be drafted onto the Scotiabank Hockey Club … but they aren't the only ones.

Join us at the MLSE LaunchPad to witness the first Scotiabank Community Hockey Draft Day and learn which Toronto Maple Leafs player is joining the Scotiabank team.

Thursday, December 7, 2017
Time:
1:30 p.m. –	Scotiabank Community Hockey Draft Combine begins – featuring The Toronto Titans AAA Peewee team and the Etobicoke Dolphins Peewee AA team.
2:30 p.m. –	Draft ceremony and Scotiabank Teammate announcement begins
3:15 p.m. –	Event concludes
*Media should arrive by 2:00 p.m. for set-up.

Scotiabank will announce its newest Teammate as part of the first Scotiabank Community Hockey Draft Day. Two Scotiabank supported kids' community hockey teams will be participating in a series of combine exercises before being drafted into the Scotiabank Hockey Club and receive a BIG surprise.

The newest Teammate will join the roster of Scotiabank ambassadors including: Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Lanny McDonald, P.K. Subban and Darcy Tucker.
