The Company announces that the Tender Offer completes today, in accordance with the expected timetable of events and
the terms and conditions of the Tender Offer, as set out in the Circular to Shareholders dated 7 February 2003. Cheques
will be despatched to Shareholders, and CREST accounts credited, today.
 
Following the repurchase by the Company of the 75,426,090 Shares successfully tendered by Shareholders (for an
aggregate purchase price of �6,788,348), these Shares will be cancelled.  The issued share capital of the Company,
following the cancellation of these Shares and the recent repurchases in the market and subsequent cancellation of a
further 2,230,000 ordinary shares, will be 309,076,623 ordinary shares.
