Verizon Communications Inc. on Thursday said its board raised the company's quarterly dividend to 64 cents per outstanding share, up 1.25 cents a share from the previous quarter.
The new dividend will be payable Nov. 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business Oct. 8, the company said.
The company said this is the 15th consecutive year its board approved a quarterly dividend increase.
