bapodra_investments: KR1 PLC is generating revenue which is real money. There have been a great couple of RNS's in the past week. This is great for shareholders as it could lead to an appreciation of the share price. We have already starting to see the share price rise recently and if Bitcoin and Cryptos in general continue rising then I can see investor sentiment becoming even more positive with companies like KR1 PLC. I think the the team are doing a really good job. They just need to make sure that any revenue gained is re-invested in the best Crypto / Blockchain projects out there so that there is clear visibility in future potential revenues that could be received on any exits. They seem to be doing this which is encouraging. I think the exit strategy of KR1 PLC is the right one as it means they have a steady stream of income and do not have to keep on diluting shareholders which is so often the case with many micro and nano cap companies listed. For me KR1 PLC has immense potential. In my view it is a long term hold with accumulation on any major corrections. This is still well under the radar of many high risk investors and any news is limited to Proactive Investors. The publicity is weak and for the share price to really motor upwards it needs more buyers of the shares and basically more cash being invested into KR1 PLC shares otherwise it is at the mercy of speculators and potential 'Pump and Dump'.
jonnynixon: It's an excellent business, not sure whether aim listing in addition to nex would benefit share price and ability to trade
blindboy1: Yes, difficult to get any sort of return here at present, whilst there is a big spread, low volume, a regular significantly discounted share price to assets, no dividend and choppy crypto market. There will have to be some game changer event down the line in the set up, it's an exciting company to have a few quid in but it's less clear how you can actually get value out of it.
jonnynixon: Why is the share price so low?
74tom: Yep, have held KR1 since Jan 2018 and have been hoping for a move from NEX to AIM for some time now. I think it would see a 100-200% increase in share price in a short space of time, the fact its only available over the phone and costs £20 a trade puts 90% of potential investors off IMO
blindboy1: After further advances today Cosmos and Polkadot alone account for £13.4m against Kr1's market cap of £10.8m I appreciate the numbers constantly change but surely at some point the interest and share price has to pick up in Kr1
blindboy1: If a seller was the main reason then we would be doomed for the foreseeable here. 135m odd shares in issue and an inability to withstand someone wanting to seek a few hundred thousand shares without slashing the share price isn't good. I am wondering if we need Polkadot and Dfinity launches to see the true position iron out, rather than relying on Grey prices. Kr1 generally has a problem getting any value to its shareholders - no dividend and huge discount to NAV, illiquid. Wondering if Kr1 should consider setting up a fund and adding the tradeable coins into it so investments with main value has a price that more closely tracks its holdings. Coinsilium were talking about doing something like that late last year but I don't follow them. Overall Kr1 has had some fantastic investments and I am a fan, but it's difficult to see what's in it for shareholders, particularly if they remain underwater despite all recent good news or are being put off investing further.
blindboy1: So Cosmos and Polkadot alone now account for USD16m of investment valuation which is GBP12.5m against market cap of GBP10.3m. If the KR1 price always lags the value of its investments soooo badly it is going to be really difficult for shareholders to actually feel any financial benefit.
bapodra_investments: If you look at the price action of KR1 compared to say Coinsilium and Vela then it speaks volumes! Momentum is beginning to appear with the share price reaction for KR1.
bapodra_investments: It will be interesting to see how the share price of KR1 reacts from September 18 to December 18 as well as how the crypto market reacts in this very same period.
