I've done IP research work before, and the thing is, if a new disruptive technology appears on the market at the right price, with supply able to meet rising demand, it should easily be able to take at least 5% of the market within a few years. AFC have three disruptive technologies, Alkaline fuel cells, high density alkaline membrane fuel cells, and the membrane itself that can be used in several markets including the huge Chlor Alkali market. In all cases the technology is cheaper than the incumbent technology, with equal to or greater than performance. In all cases the manufacturing will be outsourced to suppliers where no bottlenecks should occur. So a target of 5% market penetration is fair over the first few years of these products.

Hopefully they'll announce a deal on launch day, or could come before, which would certainly light the blue touch paper...

The rerate is already happening and will continue to happen ahead of the expectations of the market. By the time the warranty arrives (along with huge praise of the system longevity by De Nora), most of the rerating will be in the bag, the market buys ahead of news so it's not waiting for the warranty RNS, it's pricing it in.

DeNora's fuel cell warranty could land anytime in the next 2-3 weeks. The moment that happens all shorters will be toast as the share price will massively relate immediately

The fuel cell market alone is expected to be worth $55 billion by 2026. If AFC get 10% that's $5.5 billion per year. But AFC have the "best available technology" and the "cheapest", so they could get 50% or more.

Media exposure needed: especially of the demonstration on 6th December. Earlier in the year South Today' TV covered a previous fc demo at Dunfold. Hopefully this time printed media should add to the exposure. The hydrogen economy is currently largely ignored by financial hacks and politicians who only seem to bang on about wind and solar.

Hi Guys, I bought into this share approx 3/4yrs ago and sold most of my shares on the down turn then. Due to nothing happening since then i sold recently when they hit 6.1p and a day later they typically rose to approx 9p. Thinking how ironic but yet doing me a favour as this made me decide to look up what is going on with AFC and decided to buy 200,000 shares. Friday i sold 100,000 shares thinking best not fall in the trap of approx 3yrs ago. Early part of today seeing they rose again decided to obtain 400,000 shares in 5 pruchases as fine that when you buy in small lots you get a overall better price than buying in one whole chunk. From time to time i like to work out what 1p rise is worth and am finding that my holding of 500,000 shares is worth £5000 per 1p they go up which i struggle to get my head round. Just wished to tell my story, Lets hope there is only good news from here on and beyond.

In any case, an established going-concern company isn't valued on its revenue, but on it's pre-tax profit. You could have a company with huge revenue, but making very little profit or even a loss. And of course vice-versa.

Absolutely. It's the penetration as you say that matters here. 5% would indeed be quite something but it is this which is hard to judge at present. Don't get me wrong (I have been in since 2017) and think we are still undervalued and do see £1 plus as a reasonable short term target. I am very optimistic and hope the potential can indeed be met here.

You value it the same as all small cap technology companies, on the IP and with a peer comparison. AFC are entering multi billion pound markets. Even 5% market penetration in the first few years would make AFC a billion pound company.

De Nora turnover in 2016 was 431m Euro's, so definitely the possibility to double or treble that, or more. The membrane alone just for Chlor alkali could make their turnover much higher.

haggis, and PPS have a £155m mcap based on just £800k sales revenue last year. Think what AFC will be based on £billions, with its class leading and cheapest technology.

Perhaps but a £1 by Christmas sounds quite feasible and 40p plus by Friday would be quite something. The potential is enormous here but how do you value it exactly? It's a tricky one. I see no reason why the share price should pullback significantly from here but the herd mentality of PI's could determine that. Good luck to all.

I was told by someone within AFC that the successful development of AFC's technology has the potential to double or even treble DeNora's turnover.
