aja2 Bond was asked about future placings and dilution of share value and he said there would not be any more placings and if they needed further funding it would come from other sources like the bank but there could be many ways to fund if and when needed but that may not even be necessary now.

No worries; when checking the share price with all companies but especially R&D companies one needs to check the market cap/shares in issue/SP due to the likelihood of raising funds/dilution over time.

I've just checked and just post Abramovich investment there were 217M shares in issue. There are currently 447M in issue so just less than half would equate to 29p v 60p back then.

However when the share price rose to those levels the shares issued were substantially less; one would have to go back and look at all the share issues; I recall when it went up to 60p was when Abramovich invested a large amount which diluted the shares issued. Thus if the shares issued were half they are now; 30p now would be equivalent to 60p then.

Looking at the chart this has spiked twice from 10 to 75p and 10p to 60 so anything is possible its so volatile

All a gamble (sort of)but if you wait for news and all things being equal the news is good you will miss a big big rise bearing in mind the 6th of Dec is looming. On balance theres too much going on here to be out imo.

Objectively, regarding future rises, what material news has been released since AFC started to rise 350% in the past week. An update illustrating a very good improvement in efficiency of their new membrane; despite their claims it is well below class leading PEM tech power density but excellent for alkaline tech. Rebranding of their products and a new website giving dates to when one can order their products. Bond said the EV charger does not use their new membrane and that needs more development. They have, as yet, not sold any of the products. They may have described enquiries but not tenders and no orders. Given the rise thus far, it could keep going or people may decide to bank the profit and wait for further news of orders or licensing deals before reinvesting; time will indeed tell. Stocks are always overbought and oversold.

No, it wouldn't. The company has just issued news, and part of that news was that AFC have a number of lines of enquiry they are dealing with, including for example the licensing or sale of the membrane technology. AFC cannot say for sure whether one or more of these will become a deal imminently, so there is no inside information, all of the available information on that is in the public domain, but any of those enquiries could easily be converted to a deal this weekend or any day next week, and then it becomes inside information and is immediately announced to the market. There is no issue with the Director buying, because none of them know a deal is definite until it is signed.

Wouldn't last week's buy from the director indicate there is no news coming !.

FWIW. I bought at 6.6 and sold half at 10 thinking that's great bound to be a pull back overbought blah blah but never happened. It can remain overbought for a considerable time. I have now bought back that half between 12 and 13 when I realised what was happening. You can rarely second guess. Just buy on your research.

Some people have been waiting for a pull back since 4p, and they are still waiting. Either you're attracted to the potential for the technology or you're not, but if you are, just grow a pair and invest on Monday morning, instead of dreaming about a 1p or 2p discount.

For what its worth theres a lot of news to come shortly, imo the share price will keep moving north although u may be lucky tomorrow morning and get a slight pull back before the share price moves up again bwdik

OK so no-one has a crystal ball, but is this growth likely to continue on Monday, or am I better off waiting until there is a pullback? Cheers

AFC could well be the 'go to' company here as an industry standard. The level of buying interest would suggest those are the thoughts of many and not just individuals..

I've removed a few more lines and replaced the long website links towards the top with shorter 'click on' date buttons. I will amend further when I have time.
