I imagine most people will copy Jak's last post to AFC. Accusations of scam and fraud will get him into a lot of trouble and he will be easy to trace.Meanwhile AFC will become the largest fuel cell/membrane/power system company outside China.

On the 15th August 2016 they announced a new logo and website. Today they announced a new website. Guess you can see where the money is being spent.

haggismchaggis, "What price for a sale of the membrane technology then?" Exactly zero. Which is also the revenues that AFC will achieve from it. JakNife

This is a winner by and standards. Have never bought a share that's shown a profit in the first day for many years, 2003 I think was the last time when we went back into Iraqu. If it does this again tomorrow might just have a top up.

The involvement of De Nora, and Rolec with a sales network in over forty countries, are big verifications and guarantees success.

I agree with those posters who offer caution - pointing to AFC track record I wouldn't count your chickens yet. JakNife... Is only pointing out the company previous history, which I think most would agree does not cover themselves in glory. Change came when Bond realised Dr Lewis was not up to the job in solving AFC's electrode technology. Although bringing in De Nora would be a gamble, but also going back to square one. I hope this time it does workout. we'll only really know if and when they start delivering products...

What price for a sale of the membrane technology then? If it's replacing membranes with $1Bn in annual sales, the price could be mind boggling, it could turn AFC into a hugely valued company overnight. AFC already have enquiries for the sale of it. They could sell it to De Nora and just licence back exclusive use of it in the AFC fuel cells. It would be just like big businesses selling their offices and leasing them back over 25 years, it frees up the cash value of the asset. "Commercial enquiries already received for prospective licensing or .... SALE OF ... AlkaMem(TM) membrane technology into non-fuel cell markets, including alkaline water electrolysis."

haggis.....I'm not really bitter...just a bit sad...all i would point out is that the arguments you put forward - at least in tone - are identical to the ones previously put forward to the game changing nature of AFC's original technology...even just considering chlor-alkali. It just FEELS like rewind and replay. It may not be. If it's not you may do well.

Yes I understand zeppo it's difficult to put the bias aside, I fortunately made a fair amount from afc back in 2015 but it was in hindsight definitely over hyped, its 4 yrs on and I have re invested because of the latest announcements, yes its always going to be a gamble but one I feel comfortable with given what's been presented, this has the feel of a different animal.

Here come the losers, there's always a bus load claiming they sold out and know everything etc plus posting irrelevant claims to the future of the company. All you need to consider are the facts I posted, you don't need a history lesson on the company or the share price, as none of its relevant to the status quo.The membrane technology is worth far more than but a few here realise. If you have a game changing technology that can replace an existing technology that has $1bn in annual sales, it is worth far more than the current MCap of AFC or CWR/ITM/PPS, and clearly some big investors can see that, which is why the share price is still going up.
