"The past year has seen a degree of positive progress made" Really ?? – this is news to me. "The board is keen to resolve the obvious challenge of funding faced by All Star , and is actively investigating options to redress this matter." Cash left is £8,824 - bring on the next funding. Have a good weekend all, Steve

Hi Stav, I am sure that anley does not "want" ASMO to go under - he is simply expressing his view that it may well do. I have studied every single RNS that they have made, and sadly, I cannot see one single thing that they have actually achieved. That is a pretty sad statement, don't you think ? It would actually be funny if it was not for the sad fact that investors have money here. What highly paid Conrad is actually doing for his salary, apart from appointing ex-football chums as Directors, who know sod all about mining, is completely beyond me.

It's the VMP of the mining world. Hard to decide which has the worst record.

For those of you who are shareholders try: Conrad Windham on 020 3130 0674 and take a look on ICAP Securities & Ser Exchange - ISDX where you can find out more on Noding Donkey PLC Good hunting and researching...............I think he has another dud coming.

ASMO was floated because at that time Thorium was going to be the new substitute to generate power...............ASMO said they had found it BUT you tell me where it is? No point in reading this article and its a pity that ASMO is not officially bust so shareholders can claim their tax losses.

Some interesting comments on the Nodding Donkey board - nodd. Also "Kitosh the Cat" wrote an article on "Nodding Donkey" which mentions Conrad on www.sharecrazy.com. I'm not in a position to know if what is said there is true or not. I have to say I've often wondered why ASMO stays afloat, given that it doesnt do anything. And also why directors buy the shares from time to time, even though its not doing anything. In a proper market this company would have gone to the wall a long time ago, and taken away Conrad's salary/fees with it. If only... As it stands in my opinion it just sits around as a vehicle for extracting cash in the form of consultancy fees and so on fromtime to time. We still have the strange goings on with the placee that seemed not to exist (see my earlier postings on this). And what about all those shares that SVS got - what did they do with them? They didnt appear on the website for holders over 3%. I'd personally prefer it goes to the wall, so it PIs don't buy any shares, as I should think that money has not been made for private investors here.

Hi Loads, Agreed - if it wasn't for the financial loss to investors, this would be really funny. They haven't done a single thing since being formed, except raise funds and talk total nonsense.

what a waste of time this company is. How on earth can it still be solvent? It does nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Hi Failed, The one thing that puzzles me here is that Conrad has frequently increased his shareholding - albeit at highly discounted prices. This would in theory suggest that he has confidence - although quite why is totally beyond me - they seem to have changed their strategy several times - without ever giving any meaningful rationale - and, all they actually seem to do is raise funds - I have not yet seen a single RNS that indicates a level of achievement. However, I have a good friend who is invested here - and, I truly hope for his sake - ( and all others invested here of course) - that something will happen to take the Company forward, and at least give investors a chance to get their money back. Have a good weekend all, Steve

Having said that, if he can work that sort of alchemy with All Star (well, long enough for me to sell anyway!), then I think I would look on him as some sort of hero!! :-)

Slightly off topic, but related point to note.... Nodding Donkey is Conrad's Company isnt it? In their report today, NAV just over £300,000. Market cap circa £5,000,000. How the hell does that work? All they seem to have is a few shares in other quoted companies and a LOT of prayers to justify that valuation!!!

Hi Failed, What Conrad says and what Conrad does are two different things. The main things he says are total nonsens anyway, and what he actually does is still beyond me.

I've sort of lost track with what Conrad said he was going to do with the Australian Licenses.... I seem to recall the intention was to float one of them off early 2013? Whatever happens, I think the prospects of getting back my original investment (£5k, at 2p a share I think) seem remote!

Hi dmk - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - that is the whole point. All they seem to do is raise funds, and enjoy a good living at shareholders expense. I do not have the slightest clue what their strategy is - and I rather doubt they do either !! Where this will end up I really don't know - but will be fascinated to see.
