i should think IMHO that shahruk was trying to knock some sense into Conrad, Conrad didnt' like it, so engineered voting him off. Might even have been why conrad was buying all these shares... I wonder... Oh well, the company is worse off without Shahruk for sure, but then again as Steve says, ASMO hasn't actually done anything anyway...so probably no biggie.. and a relief for shahruk

What things are there to affect, Failed ?? As far as I can see nothing is actually happening. What is of interest to me is exactly who voted him off, and why ??

I see that Shahrukh Khan did not get re-elected at the AGM, is this going to affect things?

I see somebody has had a 400,000 share nibble today - maybe Conrad again ? I would think that today's AGM may have been a complete hoot if anybody bothered to turn up and ask a few meaningful questions - such as exactly when we will see drilling results for Sweden, why has it taken so long, and what exactly has Conrad been doing over the last year apart from raising funds and posting nonsense on twitter. Would love to have some feeedback if anybody did attend.

make of it what you will... gilpas on the back burner blah blah, maybe a lot of iron ore at Samon blah blah...then again maybe not, but we'll never know until they drill it. And they don't seem to want to drill... And Australia will add value to ASMO...how?...it doesn't say...

Do you think some CEO's see this as a training manual rather than a piece of fun ? http://boards.fool.co.uk/the-mining-promoters-handbook-6373903.aspx

Hi anley. Yes - Bob Young left a long time ago, but, one assumes he saw potential to become involved initially. Whether it was Jan directly who was responsible for the failure to renew the work plan on BEM we know not, but, yes, it happened "on his watch". I still consider him a good geologist, but probably not good administratively. Agree about the "doubtful business plan" - I think that is a VERY kind way of putting it - I am really not sure that they have a coherent business plan at all !!

Remember it was Jan who got BEM in to a spot of trouble and Bob Young left moons ago. Who is going to put capital in to this business as it has a doubtful business plan?

Hi Stav, And, indeed , you may well be right. Your opinion is equally as valid as mine - and, I fully accept that Conrad is not buying shares for fun - I just wish I could at least have some basic understanding of what this Company is trying to achieve - so, far, I can honestly say that I have litle, if any, idea, as their strategy seems to blow in the wind, and never seems to be backed up by facts in RNS's - this always worries me. Believe me, I would be delighted if ASMO comes good - maybe there is something behind the scenes which only Conrad knows about - but, it will be a relief to all shareholders when it becomes apparent. I like the Swedish project - (at least in theory) - and it was this, plus Jan's involvement as geologist , plus Bob Young's position - ( which I believe he no longer holds) - that first interested me - then they went into an endless round of fund raising, with money disappearing I know not where, absolutely zero progress being made, and then suddenly a switch in direction to some unknown and unquantifiable projects in Aus, and now, apparently, back to Sweden. Is it any wonder that I am bewildered and sceptical ??. If Conrad does not have a consistent and clear strategy that he is driving forward how can one form any valid judgement of progress ? When it eventually becomes listed on AIM, and hopefully more tightly regulated re content of RNS's - plus, the spread thins, and it becomes more liquidly traded, with a coherent strategy, I may well form a different opinion, but, until then I am firmly on the sidelines. Best wishes Steve

CyprusSteve You are a bright guy, but there are many different ways of looking at everything, as I am invested and below water here, I prefer to try and look on the bright side and give Conrad some more time. The truth is often stranger than fiction, so you never know. LOL!

Indeed, Stav - one can hope - and, I also find Conrad's continual buying perplexing - especially so, as if they plan to come onto AIM as they have stated, will require a further funding - I have to confess that I cannot understand what on earth is going on here. If Conrad actually has a clear strategy, and defineable plans for the future that stand up to public scrutiny, I have yet to see it. I have not yet seen two consecutive RNS's that hang together as a coherent strategy - has anybody else ??? Maybe I am missing something. Am I sceptical on this Company ? - you bet I am - but, that does not mean I am right, and perhaps Conrad is a financial wizard with a perspective on the future that eludes all us mere mortals. As always, time will tell. Ciao Steve

LOL nice one "I imagine that Conrad must have some reason for buying these shares - ( unless he is totally stupid and self deluded) - as appears quite possible from his twitters, but, the reason is so far TOTALLY beyond my comprehension."

whoppy, None of it makes any sense to me – I can usually see what most Companies are trying to do – even if I do not agree, or they make mistakes – ( as in BEM and the non license renewal ) – but , with ASMO, I really do not have a clue what they are doing or why – so far all they have done is raised money, and not issued a single RNS which makes any degree of sense, or shows evidence of a credible business plan. As others have already posted, the Australian assets offer no justification at all for their purchase, and they now seem to have switched the emphasis back to Sweden - ( if the RNS is to be believed) - which is where they started - so why all this piddling arond in Australia in between ?- does Conrad actually have any strategy at all ????? On 21-12-11 they issued an RNS saying - "New work programmes for the next phase of drilling at Gilpas, as well as the Samon iron ore target, are being submitted to the Swedish Mines Inspector. It is envisaged that the drilling programmes will commence at the projects in April and May 2012 respectively." IT IS NOW JULY - drilling news to date - ZERO - Have the plans even been submitted ?? Then, on 12-06-12 we have another RNS from them saying "All Star, the PLUS-quoted natural resource exploration and investment company, announces that it has engaged GeoVista AB ("GeoVista") to undertake a ground magnetic survey on its Samon licence" So what happened to the drilling ?? In short, I just don't have a clue what is going on – and why – plus I believe it is quite expensive to come onto AIM, and , that alone will require a further funding - that is going to cost getting on for £500,000 in itself. It does not help that I find it difficult to believe a single word that Conrad says in his RNS's. I imagine that Conrad must have some reason for buying these shares - ( unless he is totally stupid and self deluded) - as appears quite possible from his twitters, but, the reason is so far TOTALLY beyond my comprehension. Maybe he somehow feels that by buying himself it will stimulate other investors to do the same - Jeez - I have no idea. More to the point, does Conrad have any idea ??
