Well Loadsamoney I am inclined to agree and I know who is now behind all this and how he got his foot in the door and used ASMo as a clean shell company. Just ask yourself where most of the recent placing shares went. So what happens now................if they hit gold all is OK but if not then shareholders are well out of pocket...........a true gamble but not for me as I would not trust the management one little inch. I could go on but as I am not a shareholder anymore I will leave existing and new ones to do there own reseach on the old and new team. Happy Christmas everyone.............

Further thought, either there is merit in continuing exploring gilpas now or not. If there is the company should have gone for it hell for leather to get it drilled up. If no merit in doing so, they should have pressed on and got the iron ore drilled, like they said they would do. Why has not not been drilled yet? They shouldn't even be thinking about new projects, until they have done what they said they were do. Did they even finish the gilpas drilling, before drawing these conclusions, I wonder? Either way, i believe Conrad should just have sold up to BEM, and moved on. This just feels like a fudge to keep the company alive, keep the endless placings going, and keep corporate advisers like svs in fees. Meanwhile we are being diluted heavily with each passing month, with nothing to show for it. I seriously regret, setting eyes on this company. Such great potential, but what a waste.

Dunno FailedQS if it is a good sign or not. Looks to me like a capitulation by the company, re Sweden. And I detect the hand of third parties behind arranging for the acquisition of these companies in Australia, which I think (but am not quite sure after a quick read) are to be spun off into the market, with asmo retaining a holding. Strikes me that someone saw a great opportunity in Oz, then looked around for a corporate vehicle to take advantage of them, and used ASMO. Much more likely that way around, than ASMO looking for a new project. I just don't buy that, I don't think Conrad is any expert on Australian mining project, including gold ones. I think ASMO is being used as a convenient vehicle to get these new companies up and running and quoted. They are milking asmo for funds to buy these new companies. Whether that is a good thing for us shareholder or not, I have no idea. If gilpas is a dead duck, then I guess it might be better than nothing - a total shell company. But at the moment I'm feeling a bit used... Massively diluted since buying in March. And I bet certain individuals end up with personal holdings in the new companies when they are floated, in addition to asmo retaining a small holding. I would like to see accounts to see where all the money ASMO raised to date has gone. The gilpas drilling was to cost around £50,000, so what has happened to the hundreds of thousands of pounds raised...? This is our money, we own the company, not the directors. I'd like to know.

Ref today's 4 RNS's http://www.investegate.co.uk/Index.aspx?searchtype=3&words=ASMO Looks like goodbye to ASMO - and probably Conrad - and hello to some new Australian ventures. ASMO is basically back to square one, but, with a completely new focus and direction.

boulders not much good, its the source rock we need - same as the company you mention. Asmo were targetting 0.5% I think which might they said give it the largest deposit of highest grade in u308 in sweden. Maybe we will never know if its true... Goddamit, next time I will just buy a frickin licence and do it myself.

Loadsamonay Jan Ola their geologist (also BEM geologist) is what also convinced me to take a stake here, disapointing comms. We will have to wait and see.

i genuinely think the assets are great. Ive heard Jan Ola their geologist (also bem geologist) describe how excited he is about them. Just a crying shame that they seem unable to do the simplest thing, like hire a drill rig for 50k and sink a few holes in the ground. Its shocking to think the drilling costs 50k (it was in the broker report) yet they have raised hundreds of thousands and so far failed to carry out a drilling campaign. brewery and p&ss up. Of course i will happily be proven wrong, but i doubt it.

I remember getting stick on unquoted for saying that this was a worthless promotion when this company floated years ago..who puts money into a 'commodity startup' run by a geography student with no experience whatsoever in the exploration business? He did however learn a thing or two at t1ps didn't he..although people may think that this is 'gloating' I made similar mistakes when I started investing (so no gloating here) but I learnt from them..the lesson here is firstly not to repeat the mistake but also to try to warn others of their impending financial loss when they put money into companies like this the only way to make money in a stock like this is to hope for a raging bull market and then sell at a profit to a greater fool..that's never been an investment strategy

As you know I have been watching this business for some time having even been an original shareholder and I am amazed that the story has gone on for so long. ASMO has a listing valued at nearly £1 million but with no real cash balances. Its Balance Sheet is useless and it has a broker/adviser with no real standing. All shareholders can do is to sell or pray that there may be someting but I doubt it as the City will not give this management cash to squander. Its what is called a "clean shell" but who wants it in these markets?????????

The way i see it, Conrad must have information of some sort. Either drilling didnt happen, or it did and has finished, or it started then stopped before it finished. Whichever of those it is, he needs to tell us because whichever of those things is happening is market sensitive news. The whole company future revolves around drilling after all, so it is crucial information. I wonder if withholding news of that type would be a breach of AIM rules, if we were on AIM. Further one would think that svs wouldn't have sunk in £85,000 to the company without knowing something of what was going on. And given our reaction on this bb which is pretty much universal (anley you were right), it seems svs must have known more than we do. I wouldn't sink £85 into this company today, never mind £85,000, so what do they know? And why haven't we been told. And what happened to svs' last £150ks worth of shares from the summer placing which they seem now not to hold?

And so should Conrad the clown , who issues shares for a pastime, without giving any reason why. If they have a clear business strategy, I have yet to see it !!

Hi Stav, I don't hold this share and I can see no reason to until such time as they have a clear strategy and a CEO I can have faith in- I am simply watching to see what happens !!
