Can't be long now for Gilpas drilling results, also Samon scout drilling should be starting any day.

Yes we should hear something soon. Hopefully something good. Even in a bad market for uranium, good grades at GIlpas, will bring this company into the spotlight.

Greetings & warm salutations there :-) Re Thorium - I caught some of the programme as well, interesting... & one of the obvious benefits that will appeal is the inability of having a meltdown. That being said I think Thorium is of little interest at present because it's an incredibly long way off entering the mainstream forum & is also widely abundant. Looking forward to the drill results & will then decide whether to come in from the sidelines.

Recent TV program on FUKASHIMA, 6 months on mentioned the prospects and benefits of THORIUM, which was sidelined in the 60's as the military wanted uranium projects to continue.

anley thanks for you input.. will look further.. not bought anything here.. been pessimistic about the prospects of uranium.. and yes your spot on about the costs of extraction.. enviironments and raising cash.. seen youve been lucky enough to trade this.. reading near posts 800.. anyway not sifted through every post.. will do at some point.. and yes tsx miners of uranium are battered.. i was more thinking about the samon iron potential if i invested...

RAJASTER Good idea and then you tell us where we have gone wrong............ FIRST port of call for you is to go back to the original prospectus and work out how many shares have been issued and at what price. Then you can tell us how much has been spent on drilling etc and how much has been spent on office and wages etc. Then verify that BEM has parted with its drills when BEM is still drilling!! Now we all know there is uranium in Sweden but have you ever considered how much it costs to mine this stuff and the enviromental problems that have to be overcome. I made a great deal of money in Canadian uranium last year and this taught me a great deal about this industry. I can assure you that it will be very difficult for ASMO to raise the huge sums that are required to bring a commercial mine into full production - up to 10 years maybe. I think you now know how I look at a mining business. Take a look at Nodding Donkey another of Mr Windham's businesses on PLUS and let us keep an eye on this overpriced share. The company raised £300,000 LESS COSTS and has a market valuation of £1,200,000.........something is wrong is it not???

also.. i think these guys were concentrating more on bem.. now that BEM is further up the ladder i'm sure their focus will be on this to produce.. hope to chat to mr windham soon and get an idea of what his vision is.

anley You are spot on, and many of us who were less cautious than you, jumped in here with both feet, let's hope that fortune smiles on us.

If you don't have good management you do not have a business......its as simple as that. BEM has created shareholder value but ASMO has not and will have to keep giving away its equity until MR Windham can prove that he has a commercial find. Once he can do this then the ball game changes.

vane minerals is a basket case. Had shares in them many moons ago. Their uranium was in breccias in the grand canyon - not much chance of drilling there. Better to compare, continental precious minerals, aura energy and mawson resources to see the potential

Anley you state on the Agricola thread that it's all about money (a rather limited view imho) and then you have a pop at someone who raises money without needing a year's suspension and suddenly it's about the management and product as well! Novel. ;) Can't help wondering myself if your posts are more about personalities, just my hunch..... :)

Its not the time to invest in Mr Windham. Until he has convinced me that there is a commercial amount and he has raised the capital then I may change my mind. He has had to give millions of cheap shares away just to keep this company going. Interest in uranium is at a low - look at what the big uranium players share price is doing and also have a look at one of AIM's most unloved uranium companys called VML. That says it all ........... but one day uranium will come back into fashion.

I see the AGM is on 10 August so if someone can go and cross examin the board and post the results then we may all learn something new as this company is going no where.

Good point Andy. I always assume broker notes are paid for anyway! Its quite a compelling research note. I like the list of companies with market caps at the back. IF they strike good grades, this will be hugely rerated.

Scyther - There are no plans at present but I'm sure in time they will apply to AIM again but personally I cannot see this happening until next summer at the very earliest.
