Anley, I'm sure you are spot on. They won't contract with a drill company until they have permits and the money in place. Dont think it costs too much to drill. In the order of £60-80 k or so I'd guestimate from following BEM previously. I confess to getting just a touch frustrated, because I think they have such fantastic assets, and I just want to see/hear of a drill rig on site to get things started for real and start releasing that potential value.

I am still waiting for an entry point and if the permits have not come through then what is the point of ordering a drill so I shall continue to sit this out for the time being?

Yes thanks. I was also there and had a chat with Jan Ola, who is enthusiastic about the geology. Nothing to add really! I think that the geological prospects here are superb. And market cap low. I really want to know that the drill rig is on site though. I'd imagine at that stage we'd have a big tick up.

I had a minute with Jan the Geo at the Minesite session. ASMO still awaiting the permits to drill- can only wait for this but it should not be long before they might give an indication of the potential of the Uranium in situ. He said they had found some high grade U from surface sampling. Also commented on the Fe but simply smiled when I questioned similarities with the Beowulf mineralisation nearby. From his tone, on what they expect to be able to report, I will continue to hold and may add on dips -which are regular on PLUS markets! Not worried and DYOR etc

yes i saw that 1 m purchase. there is steady selling most probably from one of the placements at a low price earlier. But equally someone wanted a big bunch. Hopefully the buyer will be proven correct. Best way to buy nto this is in chunks from time to time, wait for the price to dip down like it has now way down low then give it both barrels with a big purchase. Reckon thats what that buy was. No point in buying continuously as the Sp would just rise and rise and it wld cost more. W a market cap as low as it is, its possible to build quite a big position in this one. Wish they'd tell us about progress though and get a rig on site.

Holding too. I don't see any point in short term trading this one. The spread is way too much for that. Either it flys or err not. Am still excited by the potential of the assets, and feel the potential upside is so great that holding on is the only sensible option. Hope we will get some sort of update soon, and get those drills on site.

An excellent stock to teach yourself all about "Volatility". I can see why some of the longer term holders took their chance to exit on the last spike, but only time will tell who was right, still holding!

Am keen to find out exactly where the iron ore, magnetite is. As posted before I believe it must be close to Beowulf's kallak deposit. I think the Samon licence is about 10ks north west of jokkmokk, and Kallak is about 20ks west. So must be reasonably close. And if Kallak is all systems go for Beowulf, and there is a deposit next door w asmo,,,, then you'd think the two would be joined up in due course. Looking forward to an update from the company. They just raised 160k since christmas, so there should be an update about drilling soon, and I'd expect them to crack on with it.

The reason for not much mention of Thorium is that its massively abundant everywhere and simply not economic to do anything with. I see this company as a Uranium play (pretty good grades) with the possible bonus of some iron ore if we are lucky.

Agree. Wish they'd get on w it. There was supposed to be a broker note I think and a new website... Lets hope. And an announcement about drilling. I genuinely think that the japan reactor problems have had not much effect. Im following closely whether or not the chinese bid for a kalahari uranium company goes thru still. I strongly suspect it will, which will indicate tot me that there is still strong demand for uranium.

The other point is that even if demand for uranium weakens the concentration of it in this spot looks very high indeed. So it could still be extremely commercial when compared to other sites. I think they're hoping for 24% uranium or something high anyway! I wish they'd crack on! Looking forward to an update and news of a drill rig on the ground.

Loadsamonay - That is exactly my view too. There may be a little short term panic in the next couple of weeks, which is just a typical reaction by the markets, but in the medium-long term I just cant see it making any difference at all. Indeed I think the demand for Uranium is just going to increase as China etc build more and more Nuclear plants.

Betcha it doesn't make much difference. I wasn't aware untill all the press over the last few days just how many new power stations were planned. Its a huge number around the world. Even if only half of them go ahead there is going to be massive demand. Funnily enough ASMO was formed to look at thorium rather than uranium, which is a much safer metal to use...ironically. But if the world flips to thorium, ASMO has that covered too LOL..

I would be lying if I wasnt a bit worried about the public perception to uranium.
