NEW YORK, July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Warnaco Group Inc. (NASDAQ:WRNC) will replace Westwood One Inc. (NYSE:WON) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 17. Warnaco was originally announced as a replacement for Lear Corp. (NYSE:LEA), which terminated its deal with American Real Estate Partners L.P. (NYSE:ACP) today, and will remain in the S&P MidCap 400. At today's close of trading, Westwood One had a market capitalization of approximately $517 million, ranking 400th in the S&P MidCap 400. Warnaco designs, manufactures, and distributes a range of intimate apparel, sportswear, and swimwear. Headquartered in New York, NY, the company will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Apparel, Accessories & Luxury Goods Sub-Industry index.
