Ebay Inc. hired former Facebook executive Eddie Garcia as chief product officer, the company said Wednesday.
Mr. Garcia, who had worked for eBay for about a decade before, will rejoin eBay on April 18 and report directly to Chief Executive Jamie Iannone.
At Meta Platforms Inc., Mr. Garcia led the Facebook App Commerce team, responsible for marketplace efforts.
"His passion for building successful product teams dedicated to customers fits perfectly with our growth strategy," Mr. Iannone said in a statement.
