Casino Guichard-Perrachon SA's (CO.FR) Monoprix subsidiary has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire French online footwear specialist Sarenza, the company said Monday.
The deal follows a string of partnerships signed by Monoprix and forms part of the retailer's digitalization strategy, Casino said.
Neither company disclosed financial details of the proposed transaction.
Sarenza, which reported sales of 250 million euros ($310.2 million) in 2017, sells shoes and accessories in 30 markets across Europe, according to a release from Casino.
