Bnp Paribas è stata premiata come miglior banca al mondo per sostenibilità finanziaria durante Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2018. Lo rende noto la banca, spiegando che il premio è stato consegnato da Euromoney per gli importanti progressi fatti al fine di avere un impatto positivo sulla società.
Nello specifico, informa una nota, sono state valutate molto positivamente le misure del gruppo volte a tagliare i finanziamenti per petrolio e gas di scisto, petrolio da sabbie bituminose e compagnie del tabacco. A fine 2017, Bnp Paribas ha allocato 155 miliardi di euro per finanziare progetti che contribuiscono direttamente al raggiungimento degli Obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite.
Bnp Paribas ha ottenuto ulteriori riconoscimenti anche nelle seguenti categorie: miglior banca per la finanza sostenibile in Europa occidentale, miglior banca in Lussemburgo, miglior banca d'investimento in Francia.
