PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--L'équipementier ferroviaire Alstom entretient un dialogue fluide avec la Commission européenne au sujet du rachat de Bombardier Transport, la branche ferroviaire du groupe canadien Bombardier, a déclaré mercredi son PDG, Henri Poupart-Lafarge.
"La dialogue avec la Commission européenne se passe de manière tout à fait fluide", a affirmé le dirigeant lors de l'assemblée générale du groupe.
Alstom a notifié à Bruxelles le 11 juin cette opération d'environ 6 milliards d'euros. La Commission européenne a fixé au 16 juillet la date limite pour savoir si elle ouvre une éventuelle enquête approfondie sur ce rapprochement.
Henri Poupart-Lafarge a confirmé mercredi qu'Alstom comptait finaliser cette opération au premier semestre 2021.
En 2019, la Commission européenne avait posé son veto à la fusion entre Alstom et l'allemand Siemens Mobility.
