L'a.d. di Eni, Claudio Descalzi, rispedisce al mittente le accuse mosse al Cane a sei zampe da Amnesty International sulle attività che, insieme a Shell, il colosso petrolifero italiano svolge in Nigeria.
Secondo uno studio pubblicato dall'associazione per i diritti umani sul proprio sito, ci sono "prove di gravi negligenze da parte delle aziende petrolifere Shell ed Eni, il cui approccio irresponsabile alle fuoriuscite di petrolio nel Delta del fiume Niger sta aggravando la crisi ambientale in quella regione della Nigeria". Descalzi, a margine della presentazione del piano industriale, ha respinto le accuse rimandando per i dettagli al documento di risposta inviato alla stessa Amnesty.
