--Macquarie Group Ltd. has made an initial non-binding offer for a majority stake in National Grid PLC's gas transmission business, Bloomberg reports.
--The Australian group's offer could value the asset at more than $10 billion, Bloomberg says.
--Deliberations are continuing and no final decisions have been taken, according to Bloomberg.
--National Grid's gas transmission assets have also drawn interest from infrastructure specialist IFM Investors, Canada's Public Sector Pension Investment Board and pension fund investor APG Asset Management, Bloomberg reports.
