Withdrawal of De La Rue requisition notice

On 31 March 2023, Crystal Amber announced that it had sent to the board of De La Rue plc ("De La Rue") a requisition notice requiring De La Rue to convene a general meeting at which a resolution would be proposed to remove Non-Executive Director and Chairman Kevin Loosemore (the "Requisition").

Crystal Amber notes and welcomes the announcement from De La Rue on 14 April 2023 that its Chairman has resigned and that an accelerated recruitment process has been launched. Accordingly, Crystal Amber has written to De La Rue withdrawing its requisition notice.

Crystal Amber continues to constructively engage to achieve the urgent and necessary change of direction at De La Rue in order to restore shareholder value and capitalise on its strong customer base, its brand and the strategic value of its Authentication and Currency divisions.
