8Trader you're missing the point. You're not buying them to resell on the market, they are delisting. If things go well you will be able to sell them privately at a large premium.

Battyman2, that is the question. It's too early to get a price but they are raising cash at 25p a share and things are going well. Read the above research.

IMHO these companies delisting offers the chance of a lifetime, they are not going bust just going private.

Absolute bargain these. If you have £500 to tuck away for 12 months. They are raising funds at 25p a share and offering warrants at 50p.

They joined the AIM to raise cash at 89p and now that things are coming good they are going private.

From last weeks statement.

"This progress was evidenced by the sales increase in the first half of 2008 as compared with all of 2007.

This trend in sales has continued through the second half of 2008 and into 2009.
The Company currently has a backlog of orders for its products in both markets
and has seen an accelerating interest in its products, particularly for the VDC product line in the power quality market. "

Green Investment: Flywheels
A Viable Alternative To Battery UPSes

INFOTECH names flywheels as one of the top ten Enterprise technology investments for 2009

6. Flywheels
Green initiatives will continue to grow in importance as a driver of cost savings. One of the least known but most valuable green products for the data center is the flywheel, which essentially stores energy for use when power is interrupted. It is a clean and cost effective alternative to battery-based uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). At present, flywheels represent 6% of the three-phase UPS market, but the longer lifecycle and lower cost of maintenance is going to trigger increased demand for these in the near future.
Adoption of the flywheel in Europe is very high, with several large data centers announcing the implementation of flywheel technology. One of the largest hosting firms in the San Francisco area has adopted the technology as well. The systems currently available are able to handle mid-sized to very large centers and thus can be useful for a variety of business sizes and types.

This AIM listing for VYCO is an absurd waste of time. Since March 16th, the end of the first complete week since they listed, shares have only been traded on just 2 days over the past month (1K on 22/3 & 1.4K on 13/4).

So liquidity is virtually zero and trading almost non-existent. With a 30% spread what do they expect and why do they even bother ! Does not look like a viable proposition to me.

I would be tempted by this stock, but I am not paying the price they are asking to buy /sell. 80/115. Madness. Will keep an eye on it.

Interesting company. Will have to watch though not buying any until information is made available, or it drops to half the IPO price..... ;)
