Posted at 28/9/2023 08:43 by rmillaree Ok 2023 results are out - looks like they have bagged £6 mill extra profit ref prior year sale which is very nice (total disposal profits since 2020 of £23 mill!)Looks like net tangible assets of over £20 mill now with 7.3 mill shares approx dividend 15p share |
Posted at 24/7/2023 19:03 by rmillaree Note its normally about now that the company release info ref year end accounts - so if you dont have any specific joy keep a close eye here to see if there are any specific offers made by the company soon to buy back more shares. Note news updates can be a double edged sword - all tickty boo if news is good but if news is bad then that would likely reduce peeps wanting to pay as good a price forn your shares. |
Posted at 30/11/2022 16:07 by rmillaree I got an email today from the company - had missed your post.Certainly price seems to be slightly closer to fair value than prior offers - its almost as if they read my post 4/8 and went with that plus a smidge on top. Wont post the contents here unless anyone needs it but it does contain some snippets about eps and current trading. |
Posted at 23/11/2022 12:43 by davidosh Just in case any of you missed receiving a notification...You will shortly be receiving a letter from Touchstone Group Ltd concerning a further share buy-back arrangement that is being considered by the Group Board. The letter is being sent to all Touchstone shareholders and can also be found at www.touchstone.co.uk In summary, the Board are proposing a Share Buyback price of £2.05p per share plus an additional Dividend of 30p payable to all shareholders who are on the Register immediately prior to the Buyback date. It is important to stress that there is no obligation to sell shares |
Posted at 03/8/2022 09:20 by davidosh rmillaree.....I did put the price in the message and that is 15% higher than the last tender price a year ago so thought I was being fair.I am not selling as I like the dividend but others may need a cash exit so just thought reasonable to mention it here. |
Posted at 03/8/2022 08:19 by rmillaree davidoshAre you aware that the accounts are out and contain information about potential share buybacks - so looks like the company will also be active in that regard. In think if you wnat to be buying shares would be helpful if you gave estimated price you would be willing to pay - that may generate some interest. As shareholder i am in no hurry to sell unless the exit price is decent - i suspect most peeps left are probably in the same boat now. Closer to £2 per share now seems like a decent minimum price to me now - potentially though these could easily be worth £3 a share+ if the trade that is left could be sold at decent multiple. Results very decent and particualr shoutout to Mr Birch as he and other senior peeps not seem to be milking the company excessively which is alwasy a worry as shares delist and plc status goes. |

Posted at 31/7/2021 11:28 by davidosh There is £18m cash on the Balance Sheet, and only 8m shares in issue now (looks about 20% lower than LY)...so well over £2 a share in cash!Good to sit tight rather than take the tender offer and happy to be kept warm with that dividend yield |
Posted at 28/7/2021 18:58 by rmillaree Ok this years results now out now websiteI make EPS this year 16p (my est) compared to 19p last year (their quoute) Its better than those numbers suggest though as the pre tax profit from continuing operations last year was 780k compared to 1.3 mill this year. Basically they have clawed back all the profits lost from the sold unit - oh and there is another 4 mill profit booked rref sale of that unit. Dividend total this year choping 26p and cash in the bank at year end £18 mill. I await the next tender offer at £1.75 per share. Chief bod Mr Birch passed state pension age in April - i wander if there are any plans to selloff whats left at some stage to the highest bidder? |
Posted at 29/6/2021 13:43 by weatherman Another small software co that went private was Total Systems Plc TTS. Still making small profits, but even harder to sell out of than TSE. I held both, sold TSE maybe too early, but made a good return overall, still hold TTS - hope for a reasonable exit one day. |
