Posted at 22/5/2014 16:58 by tomboyb That is correct - Still supported by 22% shareholder Newmont - These Guys are from Normandy Mining - Then went to Newmont Normandy is Australia¿s biggest gold miner US-based Newmont Mining is poised to become the world's largest gold miner after winning the takeover battle for Australia's Normandy Mining against South Africa's AngloGold. The two companies' fierce four-month-long takeover battle was brought to an end when AngloGold threw in the towel. AngloGold's final bid valued Normandy at A$4.44bn ($2.26bn), compared with Newmont's A$4.56bn. After Newmont bought Normandy - these guys went to Newmont and now are going to AUM or TPJ - That is interesting because I did not expect that calibre talent to go to a tiddler - speculative but potentially a lot of upside |
Posted at 09/4/2014 11:37 by fenseal3 Broker has just given a stocky forcast, it states that the deramper stocky has appeared, when this happens the sentiment will change in any stock where he appears....we give TPJ a strong buy, so to benefit from stocky's appearance we say BUY,BUY,BUY. |
Posted at 09/4/2014 10:18 by fenseal3 Ok, sounds odd but i have bought back in again...i did sell after the last two RNS in March, the reason why, i got told to watch out for them and go with the rise to 1p, however after i saw the reaction of the price i thought it was going to drop which it has, i transfered funds from here to else where and made some dosh...anyways back in now at a lower level and will wait for that 1p...GLA!! |
Posted at 05/3/2014 14:55 by fenseal3 Just need to get some more volume going and the peeps who bought below 0.4p to stop selling once they make £20...i did say 0.65p without news, Newcrest is due an update anytime soon so news there could take this to 1p, if this just got to cash levels the share price would be 0.65p. |
Posted at 26/2/2014 17:11 by fenseal3 What gets me and will always amaze me about the AIM is you get some shares going up 35% that are shells with assets of 300k and a MC the same as TPJ 1.3m.....look at RLH,yes up 35% with 300k in bank and no assets and the same MC, TPJ has 2m cash and assets worth more than MC and here we are with the same MC as a shell company with 300k in the bank and no assets......one day some astute investors will jump on this and the ride will begin....don't get me wrong good luck to all the RLH holders but sometimes logic does prevail!!! |
Posted at 25/2/2014 09:38 by fenseal3 Every dog has it's day, and with the assets they have and the cash (2m) it's got to be worth more than 1.2m MC....there are worse companies out there with bigger MC's....if newcrest find what they are looking for say 3 to 5m gold resource then 10% belongs to TPJ, that's just for starters!!! |
Posted at 17/2/2014 12:55 by rocky walia Rumours of TPJ takeover by newcrest. |
Posted at 14/2/2014 08:39 by fenseal3 What i like about this share is the fact that people are buying these shares, we had the Fox family buying upto 4% of the company from July 13 to September 13, then Alan John Fairless has been buying up to 15m shares also 4%, then you have Patrick Gorman stepping up from advisory and holding 600k shares....then you look at the cash they have with the 750k and the 200k in escrow and the cash at the end of September 1.154m that's 2.1m....their main asset seems to be the Newcrest assets where they hope to find a large gold deposit of 3 to 5m ounce of gold TPJ would own 10.3% of this...with a MC of 1.2m and whats been going on over the last 6 months i have a gut feeling this will turn soon....when you get investors buying in any company it's always a good sign...here's to over 1p soon, GLA!! |
Posted at 29/7/2013 15:05 by spanishbobsqpants I have set up this shell thread to enable posters to discuss TPJ without disruption from Internet Trolls. Please let me know if you would like me to add anything into the header by posting below. Thread will be completed this weekend. .. COMPANY: Triple Plate Junction ( MARKET CAPITALISATION 368million shares in issue X 0.3p = £1.1m. ESTIMATED CASH: £1.8m (0.5p per share / including £1.1m cash at bank and £0.2m in escrow for one disposal pending certain approvals and £0.5m due in respect of another disposal pending completion term satisfaction. Overall about £1.8m cash when all resolved. ACTIVITIES: Gold exploration PNG and Vietnam, change in process, effective cash shell SHARE PRICE DRIVERS TO WATCH: From November 13 results looks like they are closing in on a deal. Also looks likely that could involve a deal introduced by Newmont who own a major stake in TPJ. Watch for deal news and related share price traction. With mkt cap less than cash, nothing in for projects or deal potential. Could react well to anything positive deal wise. |
Posted at 16/7/2013 23:37 by knigel One thought guys - the cash may be higher than the current share price BUT it is obviously reducing due to general expenditure including director fees etc... so the company really needs to pull a rabbit out of the bag to justify a re-rating of the share price. It is at this level for a reason but has the potential to move higher but time is short imo |
