Thanks. Not heard of that one.

As you all know PPC has been through 2 consolidations (200:1 and 6:1) now since PL got involved. The real share price from 10 years ago would now be 0.145p without both consolidations.

175p / 200 = 0.875p
0.875p / 6 = 0.145p

No great surprise that the resolutions have all passed but this just sums it up

"At the date of this letter there are 2,058,074,484 Existing Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company in issue. The middle market share price of each Ordinary Share as at close on the date prior to the date of this letter was 1.275 pence, giving a market capitalization of GBP26.24 million. The Directors consider that the number of Existing Ordinary Shares is not only unwieldly in volume for a company of President Energy's market capitalisation, but when combined with the prevailing share price, is not conducive to an orderly market. The Directors believe that both these factors may have the potential to cause a de-stabilising effect on the share price due to certain small trading having a disproportionate effect on share prices."

I just want to scream "yes but it was you lot that created this level of shares"

Anyway onwards and upwards....well you wouldn't think we could go any further down.

With all of the additional news today we now know the current state of play and its clear why the share price has been under pressure all year.

- Production has been poor (<2000 BOEPD) despite revenues compensated by the high oil price.
- CAPEX has been over budget.
- The fire at PF will hurt the FY year figures.
- US wells off line during a period of high oil prices.
- Total debt has crept up to $34m.
- Argentina price controls.
- Change of management in progress.

Surely it cannot get much worse now? Is this the capitulation low?

Lol. You will fit in well here with the other PPC experts!

PPC has been producing from Argentina for more than 10 years now. Look at the share price over those 10 years! In that time the share price has gone from 60p to 1.1p.

There has been no correlation between the PPC and ATOM share price to date. The ATOM share price more than doubled from sub 60p to above 140p from February to May. There was hardly any reaction in the PPC share price.

Brasso, what do you think will happen to the PPC shareprice when ATOM doubles.

The problem with having a CEO with close to a 30% stake is that they do not care about PIs opinions and they are never in danger of losing their job. I agree that I am very frustrated with PPC and I do not intend to direct that at other PIs here but it is equally frustrating when PIs refuse to talk about the mistakes and errors made by the company that seem to be systemic.

Even the worst companies on AIM are seeing the share prices improve with oil at $100 (Brent) and yet PPC insists on throwing money at a country that has price controls ($60/ barrel).

Instead of spending $12m+ on three Argentinian wells to achieve around 500 BOPD we could have paid off most of the IYA debt.

Said it before...

I'd like to see PPC increase its holding in ATOM, thus putting upward pressure on ATOM's share price, which in turn would put upward pressure on PPC's share price.

Wouldn't have to spend a lot.

OD

Tiny amounts of trades are moving the price at the moment but unfortunatly it is mostly selling so its pushing the share price lower. A small buy-back programme of around $1m would have a significant impact on the share price. A further 2 wells in Argentina at around $7m - $8m would unlikely have any positive impact on the share price.

Paying down the IYA loan or a share buy back is the way to restore confidence in this shambles of a company and prove that there is real cashflow!

We are in a period of high oil prices and somehow they have brought the share price to record lows. Its quite a remarkable performance.

A change in management to people with a proven record would cause the share price to surge above 2p IMO.
