Posted at 19/1/2010 16:17 by skip10 I have had a letter from my broker (Hargreaves L.) saying I have either got to tender my shares for 12p before 1st Feb or do nothing and be stuck with them, possibly weeping until Doomsday, if PIXL leaves AIM.The meeting is on the 4th of Feb. So I may sell my shares and then the motion be defeated anyway? There appears no mechanism whereby I can wait and see whether I need to sell them back now or not? I would hold them if the motion was defeated and sell them if it was carried. Can any knowledgeable people out there educate me on the whys and wherefores of this? I suppose I could always buy them back again if the motion were defeated, but it would be interesting and annoying if the kerfuffle pushed the share price up. Many thanks! Skip10 |

Posted at 13/1/2010 08:09 by qs9 definitely directors taking company on the cheap me thinks, how AIM rules allow this who knows especially with cash and stated reason for leaving aim is being undervalued! Why don't they seek a buyer at a premium then or use cash to buy back shares to boost price? ALl very sniffy IMO |
Posted at 12/1/2010 23:42 by battlebus hoodless brennan note-Pixel Interactive (PIXL, 12.5p, £4.83m) has announced the intention to delist from AIM and tender for the repurchase of a maximum of 15.4m shares at 12p. Delisting triggers an automatic SELL recommendation. |

Posted at 10/9/2009 07:59 by rcturner2 RNS: "Pixel Interactive Media Limited (the "Company") announces that on 9 September 2009 it purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 11.5 pence per share in accordance with the authority granted to it by shareholders at its Annual General Meeting. Following the above purchase, the Company has 39,982,337 ordinary shares in issue."This shows how tight the market is if £5000 worth of buyback shoots the price up 45%. |
Posted at 09/9/2009 16:06 by rcturner2 There is a dragging limit on the buying price which means that this could go on for quite a while. They will continually have to wait for the average price to catch up with the actual price. |
Posted at 09/9/2009 13:23 by markie7 only 150k traded so far. with authority to buy 4m shares, and cash to do it - this will be a very tight market now given the small free float. could easily get back to 30p, which was the float price. |
Posted at 28/7/2009 12:05 by vickenk Been watching it for over a year.. there is talk of share buyback by the company on another site...they are not short of cash or profits i guess.... |
