Posted at 07/3/2018 09:24 by paleje If their AGMs are as exciting and informative as their RNS's I doubt it:)Probably peeps (like me) just thinking some numbers have to come out eventually and, unless Larry's been lying, should be good. I can understand confidentiality when there's only 1 customer but not when there are more. Still well below last placing price which GC bought into and Tracarta last added at. |
Posted at 05/3/2018 22:24 by chopper harris1 Hello LR2, some of the more astute and knowledgeable followers of KENV will be able to give you a much more accurate assessment than me but I don't think it's very much.I'm sure you've read the latest set of accounts which were very amateurishly delayed, hence the nigh on two month suspension. Last July's placing at 6p raised over £3m but I think most of that was earmarked for work on their interest in the Namibian tantalite mine. Would expect another placing here to raise funds for their "exciting" new investment policy. I have an uncanny knack for getting into "gems" like this one! Off topic, FDBK had a better day today. |
Posted at 14/2/2018 09:46 by underhill2 Yes but we need to see profits made before the share price goes to a higher level. We also have no idea at present what the future turnover and profit will be. The recent RNS,s gave little financial information. There is no doubt that the share price will move on fairly small volume of shares traded. But as I said we need to see future profit and turnover projections. |
Posted at 09/2/2018 13:02 by scrutable Four shipments already made, probably three of 5T each in H1 and one in Q3, but no hint of price achieved - other than that the quality has been raised to much above the average of the global supply and, reading between the lines of previous RNS, was probably the deciding factor in the contract by the first buyer - not a middle man but a major manufacturing user of tantalum, needing reliability, and consistency of material. This type of material would seem to fetch $120/lb for the Ta2O5 more than double the price of two years ago. The demand and supply of electronic equipment, particularly capacitors is outstripping the supply of essential Ta. A shortfall is looming. I hope we don't have to wait for another six months before we get meaningful Revenues and Costs of Sales in the H1 report due normally in March/April. It's not as though the accounting would be onerous - with so little transacting for a single product, effectively on a re-start up of new business, but I already feel that this will prove to be a valuable mining business, with good operations management, That cannot be deduced from the poor communication with shareholders. |
Posted at 06/2/2018 08:19 by sabzahmed Glad KENV isn't trading during this global sell off period. Hopefully they will be trading as soon as it calms down |
Posted at 21/12/2017 10:48 by chrysalis99 They needed the lithium carrot to maintain the share price prior to the placing. No word since then. |
Posted at 20/12/2017 10:13 by chrysalis99 The lack of further comment on the lithium potential of the project is somewhere between manipulation and deception. To make such a fanfare about it and then cease any further reference to it has probably had a significantly negative impact on the share price and reflects badly on management's already poor reputation for fulfilling their stated commitments. |
Posted at 06/12/2017 17:28 by mikeh30 He will mention the lithium when he feels it's correct to do so. He's already mentioned he's not here to stock promote/ramp but to do his job. I much prefer the under promise/over deliver which is the polar opposite of GC. Good that he is starting a bit of PR on what he has achieved and where KENV are at. If he can communicate more with shareholders honestly about the operation the share price will take care of itself. Can see this in the teens again once we get some financials. He obviously knows his onions. |
Posted at 17/8/2017 13:34 by gary1966 Can't disagree with either of the above. Would be nice to know what the performance criteria are to earn the options. If it includes a share price of 50p+ then we probably won't mind him having them. As usual we are never told and so the company can make them up as they go along to ensure he gets them.Share price at COB on 6th January, day before he joined, 7.75-8.25p. He has really earnt it hasn't he!! |
Posted at 20/1/2017 15:59 by squiresquire I was only pointing out that KENV was valued like this a short while back when many of us bought in.Its the same Giles Clarke running both, the big difference is that i feel the KENV share price is now quite high, so ime out. But the SMA share price is still in my opinion chicken feed. |
