UK number of mortgage approvals for house purchases fell more than expected in February
In the UK, the number of mortgage approvals for house purchases declined to 87.70 K in February, compared to a revised reading of 97.35 K in the previous month. Markets were expecting the mortgage approvals to record a drop to 95.00 K.
US Dallas Fed manufacturing business index advanced in March
In the US, the Dallas Fed manufacturing business index advanced to a level of 28.90 in March, compared to a reading of 17.20 in the previous month.
Japan’s retail trade climbed in February
In Japan, retail trade registered a rise of 3.10% on a MoM basis in February, compared to a revised fall of 1.70% in the prior month.
Japan’s unemployment rate remained unchanged in February
In Japan, the unemployment rate remained steady at 2.90% in February.
