Euro-zone trade surplus expanded in January

The seasonally adjusted trade surplus in the Euro-zone widened to €17.00 billion in January, from a revised trade surplus of €16.00 billion in the previous month. Market expectation was for the region to post a trade surplus of €15.00 billion.

US housing market index steadied in March

In the US, the housing market index remained steady at 62.00 in March, compared to market expectations of an advance to a level of 63.00.

Australian house price index dropped more than expected in 4Q 2018

The house price index in Australia registered a drop of 2.40% on a quarterly basis in 4Q 2018, higher than market expectations for a fall of 2.00%. In the prior quarter, the index had registered a drop of 1.50%.
