I am 57 and been dealing for 30 plus years now so I have resigned myself to probably never learning 😂
I did however pull a large amount out last year on Valentine’s Day from bp and shell amongst others to pay off a mortgage so was happy with that discipline then - this is small fry in comparison thankfully.
Hopefully have an upward blip in a few weeks

It's not a profit until it's in your pocket. Lesson learnt?

Same old story - I never learn……
I need to sell about 5k bp to pay towards new motor next week. I had 530 as a sell target but did I sell….? Did I heck and thought “this is the time they will go back to 570” seen it done it heard it all before a hundred times but I do not ever learn…

Only solace is that the dealers say I need to pay the balance of the car within 30 days if collection so I have until 22nd May - and we “may” see an uptick with positive results……;… it’s not the end of the world as anything around a fiver will kore than cover the balance, it’s just the old fear and greed kicking in which after decades of sharedealing I still fall victim to time and time again (not always thankfully)
On a positive note - I think we will see positive ground being made going forward, - has it bottomed for now? Hope so
Will it dip to that £5 ? Looking less likely today but wtfdik

Only a fiver if the gap fill overshoots. I bought too early yesterday, so I'm suffering a bit. Not long to go.

By the laws of probability it will hit 500p . Question is will it hold there ? Certainly hope so :)

Lol, hellscream. Oil, Brent down to 87 a barrel. Just don't know how BB and Shell are going to make a profit. Hard times!

I like to think it's in a consolidation phase for them next leg upwards:)People seem to complaining about oil going down from 90 to 88 . I would say anything above 80 is bloody good for BP . Looking forward to Q1 results which is probably when it will spike assuming nothing happens between now and early May

They started another new Well in the GOM called Argos. That is going to produce 120k a. day. I bet when all added up, i bet they pump a million + a day. Then there's the gas.

Now that might be worth consideration (joking)
But it’s one of those things you may well look back on and say “I wished I’d done that” 5 or 10 years in the future …..🤣
I am about 70% all in bp and shell and have been for several years since 2020 and have done ok so far
Very reckless but feels right/ok

Kinda amuses me and has got a bit of a cliche when people say this is an opportunity to buy on the dip . I think most people like me are fully invested and unfortunately cannot make any more purchases short of mortgaging the house lol

This pullback has been useful to adjust risks on the upside - I didn't expect share price to exceed much above 500p until June

I think you're probably right, hellscream. Shell is having the same problem. BP is buying back 100 million shares a month 1 billion + a year. Oil (Brent) holding between $80.00/$90.00 a barrel thanks to Opec +. Just keep topping up on the lows. License to print your own dosh! Wink wink.
