RSI at a relatively low point however
the results say Pearson will have a great future....
So really the current price is way too conservative
for a growth stock....

I believe in Pearson's product(s) - namely online education..
So it doesn't matter how high (or low) the price goes
I will always hold this stock..

Since Pearson "KNOW" what they are doing and how it works, one assumes any AI that will come into any of these processes will be developed by Pearson...

as this announcement seems to indicate:

HOBOKEN, N.J., Feb 26, 2024 – Pearson (FTSE: PSON.L) today announced plans to further expand its beta AI study tools into additional Pearson+ eTextbooks. Generative AI tools are an increasingly popular feature for thousands of students in both Pearson+ eTextbooks and in Pearson’s MyLab and Mastering homework platforms. Now, even more students will benefit, with at least 40 math, science, business, and nursing titles available for fall back to school in both products.

“We’ve had a great response to our AI offering from students and instructors, and we’re excited for millions more to experience these features this year. As we expand our AI study tools, we are learning more about what students want and are acting on their feedback. When we combine learning science and trusted content with AI technology, our products are even more effective in helping students learn and instructors teach,” said Tony Prentice, Pearson’s Chief Product Officer.

Is AI going to disrupt their business model...could Pearson be bypassed in exams/assessments by some AI model,
rendering their input/role redundant..?.

On reading the results, if I did not own so many already it might be time to buy a huge wad more.....

They more or less said this can only go one way (profit wise) for about 2 years or so.....

EI: You cant learn English via osmosis you need either Pearson AI or Pearson Normal Software. Either way we KNOW you have to learn it... There is no magic AI pill that if you swallow it you get to learn it without any effort.... That is being a bit silly.
