This stock could rerate further listing on the AIM market but suspect the company would think that a backward move.

Comfortable results, this company may not set the market on fire but they are solid and making the right strategic decisions and a yield of 7% is almost enough of an attraction. The share buyback is a bit of a surprise and the effect on EPS will also be picked up by inst investors. I agree todays performance might retrace but I stand by my prediction that 60p will be the support level.

It may be value, but unfortunately the market seems to have a perpetual downer on this stock, as it does on many other small caps over the last few years. They'll be a brief surge on the stock, maybe to the lower 70s, then slowly all the way down again.

GSW….maybe called it a bit early, but expecting it to return to old trading range 60-65p, order book looked strong at last results, now we’ll diversified (Europe and India) as well as by sector. A recent sell off by Invesco the only obvious reason for the fall this year.

See the FT article on the weekend, “Rise in civil engineering activity boosts UK construction sector” …it goes on, “the UK construction industry returned to growth in March for the first time in seven months, driven by a rise in engineering activity….ending a six month period of contraction…near-term outlook for construction workloads increasingly favorable…driven by increased demand for energy and infrastructure projects…̶1; plenty of steel being used it would appear.
