28/3/2024 14:14 | Shares have been kept in a very tight holding pattern today, spread set at 35 - 36.5 with the real bid / ask 35.9-36 at open and now 35.4-35.5 with occasional backwardisation. Essentially looks like the market makers are buying time, they don't want to drop the price as that would attract buyers, as would a rising price. Stasis is the best answer. It won't last for long based on the demand shown this week - 28m shares / 30% of share capital traded is a huge spike in interest | 74tom
28/3/2024 10:01 | So presumably they will buy back again after realising losses. | amt
28/3/2024 09:49 | Canaccord change in holding is certain high wealth clients selling, quite possibly for a handy end of tax year loss to offset gains elsewhere | photon
28/3/2024 08:22 | Selling price a bit higher than buying price. What does that indicate. Very odd | amt
27/3/2024 18:58 | If the strike vote results were announced on 18th it's unlikely that orders were collapsing by 23rd April. The video they released of the interims presentation is well worth rewatching now. It reiterates how well they'll be positioned once through the strikes and production picks up again - ie at the stage we're at now. One of the four companies able to provide a full end-to-end localisation service for the big studios. It's a shame Cannacord were more concerned about their nose being put out of joint than the future performance of their funds. | verulamium
27/3/2024 17:59 | These professionals lol. Buying at 160p and selling at 30p. Remember don't give your money to fund managers guys. | mortal1ty
27/3/2024 17:53 | "The new shares represent approximately 8.7% of the issued share capital of the company prior to the placing. Existing major shareholders Herald Investment Management and Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management agreed to subscribe for 400,000 and 812,500 shares respectively, in the placing." I imagine they also lost complete trust in management after they gave Zoo money at 160p on the 23rd April, when we all know that Zoo digital management knew orders were collapsing when the writers voted to strike on 18th April lol. I mean I still think that was completely underhanded, but it like any dilution, as a new holder it benefits me :) | mortal1ty
27/3/2024 17:30 | I expected this. See it all the time. I was going to mention this yesterday, but you don't usually see 20-30%+ of the shareholder register change hands without a major player exiting. Believe it or not I don't see it as a negative. In order for share prices to bottom you need the stale longs who want out to get their chance to. Otherwise the shares will always be held down. You want new institutions to come in. Ones who are focused on this smaller market-cap range, and preferably are value investors. Ones who are in it for the turnaround. As an aside, 95% of the time, the reason why fund managers sell in these scenarios is because the stock used to be 1% of their portfolio, and now its 0.15%, and frankly they want to move on. The damage to performance has already been done. It is just about getting the liquidity to get out. | mortal1ty
27/3/2024 17:20 | They sold 3m and the share price went up… | siriusbizness
27/3/2024 16:21 | Surprised they only got rid of 3m yesterday, would assume another 1m or so today so still a fair few to get through... They are such a pain in UK small caps, incessant outflows for the last 2 years | 74tom
27/3/2024 16:08 | Buyers now | tomavery19
27/3/2024 16:07 | Well didn't expect that. Maybe they want out. Time to sell I think. | 7rademark
27/3/2024 16:05 | Cannacord offloading no wonder. Will they dump more i wonder | tomavery19
27/3/2024 15:59 | Mms next move will be to shake imo. Might be a top up chance soon. | 7rademark
27/3/2024 15:36 | There's numerous examples. If NT to buy or sell was always indicative of the obvious no one would trade either way. A more common tactic is to keep a sell limit low to encourage sellers to exit in smaller chunks thus creating the illusion everyone is selling. Etc etc. | 7rademark
27/3/2024 14:58 | How do they do that | tomavery19
27/3/2024 14:55 | NT To sell will appear numerous times during the day maybe hundreds of times with a stock such as zoo. It suggests a tick down and assumes the mms only want buyers. But is also used as a tool to deceive. | 7rademark
27/3/2024 14:44 | Back to nt to sell. | tomavery19
27/3/2024 14:27 | Just trying to work out the mm games here. | tomavery19
27/3/2024 14:26 | Yes well spotted. | tomavery19
27/3/2024 14:10 | Nt to sell will prob see a big sell later at 36p | tomavery19
27/3/2024 13:26 | The share price is rising with volume because the mcap is 35m with potentially 100m worth of orders on zoos books. If the sellers can not see that so be it. Buy. | 7rademark
27/3/2024 13:20 | At least its a slow rise up rather than big spike | tomavery19
27/3/2024 13:13 | Agreed on games, next level and had been since yesterday morning - tells you everything about where this is going IMO | 74tom |
