Indiestu - I think there may be a legal obligation to post to you to inform you (as it says in the RNS): "...there are no matters connected with its ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006".

It's about the new team and turnaround in a strong growth market. The results reflect what we were told last year, no surprises hence lack of tanking share price.

Dom't want to get into the technical aspects of these results but if they were that bad why didn't share price tank NCC is about the future hopefully near future but patience will be rewarded here and my holding is going nowhere

After the steady advance of the past 8 weeks we now seem to have a bit of a N Y hangover.
It probably needs news to restore the momentum. Interims likely on 1st or 8th Feb - but will they be good enough?

IT and support services group NCC (NCC) faces plenty of headwinds and needs to prove it can make sustainable improvements, says Shore Capital.

Analyst Martin O’Sullivan retained his ‘hold’ recommendation and a ‘fair value’ target price of 120p on the Citywire Elite Companies plus-rated stock, which was trading at 122p on Friday.

He said the shares are ‘materially below historical norms’ at a 22x price/earnings but ‘nevertheless relatively generous given the near-term headwinds and lack of visibility on a return to confident growth’.

‘On the plus side, the group’s “Next Chapter” strategy is well underway, albeit it is too early to assess its ultimate level of success,’ said O’Sullivan.

‘The challenges have been laid bare, and we believe evidence of a sustainable improvement in operational and financial momentum will be needed to create the conditions for sustainable upside in the group’s stock.’

Trading update reads very good & should underpin the current share price - results brought forward to January and present an opportunity for new investors to jump on board 150p in the short term is surely a decent possibility DYOR

Boozey - it's pretty standard to describe results as "unaudited" - unless the annual report has been signed (which is what the audit report is attached to), then by definition the audit report hasn't yet been issued therefore it's unaudited. Most companies release their results and the annual report (very) shortly thereafter.

Unless you're Victoria plc, I doubt there's much to worry about.... ;)

Imperialist, I agree, but it doesn't explain why the results are announced as unaudited when they asked for an extra two weeks to complete the audit process.

All factored-in. That's why the share price has more than halved in recent times. A little shake to get rid of a bit of retail, then back to 200p. Easy money for investors.
