That would be nice , bring on the bidding war . You would think the buy orders would be at a higher price if another party wanted to acquire a blocking stake . Good luck all , either way : )

not sure... cant make any sense of it... just feels like big buyers waiting for another announcement... was rather hoping it meant theyre poised waiting for another bidder to come in.. we can dream eh?? lol

Reading the bid statement the word irrevocable crops up a lot. I assume that rules out any higher counterbid.

Now the old chectnut of whether to take 266p or wait for the 270p and avoid dealing costs.
Has anybody ever known a bid to fall through at this stage? Or could there be a counter bid?
