That seems a helluva result compared to what they said they were aiming at... but no info on the profits being sold. Need to investigate.

This has been looking good in the last few weeks. Hopefully the current run can get us back to 2000+.

Very interesting and long studay by Deloitte on "Green hydrogen: Energizing the path to net zero" - can be found here One stat stood out for me: the Global electrolyzer manufacturing capacity required by 2030 is 210GW - compared to the 8GW existing in 2021. That's both massive growth and a huge number of electrolyser membranes to sell. JM's platinumand iridium-based technology has a big diversification benefit over reliance on nickel, zirconium and other rare earths in the other technologes.

As an aside, the UK's ability to produce wind power makes it a big producer, but its transport infrastructure makes it a big user.

Well worth a read, especially Part 2 on developing the value chain.

I've had confirmation this morning that this was indeed using JM's fuel, shame it wasn't in the article !

It's started....The article doesn't suggest they used JM fuels but the first flight using SAF is surely a good thing when JM are leading the development... ? https://news.sky.com/story/pioneering-flight-to-use-100-sustainable-aviation-fuel-to-cross-the-atlantic-13017573?fbclid=IwAR36szyb647Pxm0wRfvMVRptt5SwCNR6DufF-zzN_8ofFcI08BkftoWtSik_aem_AYbu87mUHisl2fLt9Uez9AhSJhleN7cJWA_w8xKuI8-JjkfPmuRIt3WYsz9O03B2tHA

support given towards 1450p but it seems many consider it more likely to trend up towards 1650p

This liklihood may come into being as and when the more pessimistic analysts accept
a more positive view

Agreed, not quite out of the woods and still very reliant on PGM pricing, but the pivot to the new carbon neutral economy looks to have some legs.
