25/4/2024 10:20 | "...will give Paul and Sean 10 out of 10 for keeping the name of the new CEO under wraps" ha ha, nice one. Probably quite easy to do if have no one lined up. You would expect that the captain of the ship gets in steering it from day 1, rather than months later | yaki
25/4/2024 08:37 | We are now near the end of April and still no news whatever they are planning is being kept under wraps they have plenty of choice Paul and Sean will be plotting a nice earner which will all being well take katoro near to the price needed to trigger a letter requesting extra cash.i will give Paul and Sean 10 out of 10 for keeping the name of the new CEO under wraps.gla | theshareguru2
24/4/2024 17:55 | I miss frankandbeans and Guitars | iamthebest
24/4/2024 10:56 | I would say that is a safe bet as per RNS 29th Feb 24 with the appointment of Mr Wade as executive chairman Louis Coetzee former chairman will remain as exec Director and will then step down from the board and employment with the company simultaneously with appointment of second Director. Mr Coetzee will then become a consultant to Katoro until 31st July 2024 to assist with the transition of responsibilities. | iamthebest
24/4/2024 10:44 | @Lurker I suspect rather than prending they are revieweing the Haneti project drill results in some detail and working on other plans which take some time to formulate which are too early to be announced, time will tell. On a positive note Louis Coetzee is due to retire by rotation at the upcoming AGM, my money is on him not seeking re-election, that news by itself should have a positive impact on the share price. | dpr1881
17/4/2024 09:38 | Or maybe I should have said 'pretending' | lurker5
17/4/2024 09:35 | So there you have it ! - again ! - No plan. Just hoping something will turn up. | lurker5
17/4/2024 08:12 | Yes, pretty lame update As I said, it takes quite a lot to be worse than the worst director on AIm - Louis Coetzee And Paul Johnson and gang seem to be up for the job. In Louis days, share price went from 0.08p to 0.15p. Paul J days - 0.15 to 0.08 | yaki
17/4/2024 08:11 | gw who do you mean - SW? grahamwales 17 Apr '24 - 07:17 - 3714 of 3714 Looks like new CEO is trying to screw every last penny out of private shareholders. KAT has nothing and should be delisted. Guy has already screwed POW investors. | yaki

12/4/2024 10:23 | I wish you all the best | onedayrodders
08/4/2024 13:20 | Yes indeed ,not many would disagree with that Rodders. But the "snouts in the trough fest" is all but over hopefully. The Phoenix may now arise from the ashes even if the bird is a tad arthritic as it first climbs out of the fire. Excelsior. | algernon2
08/4/2024 12:43 | Blyvoor Project - South Africa July 2020 Louis Coetzee Executive Chairman of Katoro Gold plc commented: "We were pleased to see the level of interest shown in the Blyvoor gold project, with the number of potential finance partners exceeding expectations. We have therefore spent much of June reviewing the parties and focusing on identifying a select shortlist from which we believe we can secure the best possible funding solution for the Project. This is an intensive, but highly exciting point in the Company's development and we are looking forward to providing further updates to the market as we continue to progress towards first gold production from the Blyvoor tailings facilities." Blyvoor Project - South Africa March 2024 "Following review of the Blyvoor Project, and given the new direction of Katoro and the need to focus on a clear pathway to high value business activities, the Company has decided to cease any further investment in this project with immediate effect." "Some" would say a classic AIM confetti lifestyle placing Company that keep wages going at the expense of gullible retail investors from one dream to another indefinitely. | onedayrodders
08/4/2024 12:14 | Yaki, if it all goes belly up which I don't think it will I will treat you to an apology and a "reasonably priced" bottle of red wine of your choice. Keep this as a reminder and you can cash it in after a year from this date if you so choose. Good luck all of us. I will still (hopefully) be around. Algernon. | algernon2
08/4/2024 07:12 | previous Chairman is responsible for a lot but not since Feb. Paul Johnson and gang took over then and for last 2 months delivered f'all. Apart form 850k placing and 30% decline in sp algernon 25 Apr '24 - 10:47 - 3707 of 3707 Plans are afoot Yaki. Be patient. The previous CEO is alone responsible for the continued fall in the S.P. not PJ and gang. And before you ask: No I don't know the exact plans they have for KAT; I just know Paul Johnson always has them and he is incapable of surviving without having or dreaming up cunning plans (Like Baldrick). Keep the faith. Algernon. | yaki

04/4/2024 10:38 | This is really really bad. Where is the new CEO, what is going on. The share price is less than under Coetzee and below placing price. Paul Johnson and gang haven't delivered anything yet, apart from taking the share price 30% or so down! | yaki
03/4/2024 20:01 | The next 10 days we should be told new CEO and which direction katoro is going, hopefully a good direction !!! | theshareguru2
27/3/2024 08:23 | This is unbelievable. The new guys managed to drive the price even lower than what Coetzee did. It must be quite rare to do worse than Louis Coetzee but looks like Paul Johnson and the POW gang are up for the challenge! | yaki

19/3/2024 17:05 | Yes indeed, it is a very very interesting time for Katoro and also for those of us who follow the "Adventures of Paul Johnson" Novellas with interest. Algernon. | algernon2
19/3/2024 12:37 | Lurker 5 if they where to move henetti to power metal then bar the money owing from lake Vic they are a pure shell, power need a few ipo's so hey presto you have katoro global, and that's why I think the mystery surrounding the new CEO, also if you look at today's RNs they mention Australia as an after thought, also one of the new shareholders was involved with greatland gold, as I say all will be revealed with in the next month to six weeks I think.
