Brian Moritz

Brian is a chartered accountant and chairman of the Capital Markets Group of Grant Thornton, one of the UK's top ten accounting firms. He specialises in advising private companies, mainly in the area of flotation, where he is registered by the London Stock Exchange as a nominated adviser for companies seeking admission to the Alternative Investment Market and a Listed Company sponsor. He specialises in natural resource companies and is a director of
four companies in this field.

John Woolgar

A former stockbroker, John has 35 years substantial and diverse City experience, principally involving private investors in smaller companies. As a former corporate adviser he sought and raised funds for over 30 companies by way of Official List and Unlisted Securities Market flotations, Business Expansion Scheme and Enterprise Investment Scheme private placings. More recently he conceived the idea of Web Shareshop (Holdings) Plc as a cost effective method of attracting large numbers of private investors into new issues and as a delivery system for private funds into placings. He subsequently introduced new management into Web Shareshop (Holdings) plc, as a result of which it is now an investment company mainly focussed on the mining sector.

James Burgess

James has spent 20 years working in the City. He originally worked on the
floor of The London Stock Exchange for Sheppards and Chase, stockbrokers transacting business on behalf of the firm's clients. Having gained investment experience he moved to Pinchin Denny a (jobbing) market making firm where he specialised in making a market in the shares of engineering companies. He subsequently joined CT Pulley (now part of ABN Amro) stock jobbers to expand their market making activity into the engineering sector. He spent six years with the firm leaving in 1992 to set up his own business, Everett Financial Management which he chaired until 2003, when he sold the business to Sky Capital, an AIM quoted stockbroker. Everett Financial Management was authorised by the FSA and became a member firm of The Stock Exchange. Under his leadership it arranged investment transactions totalling in excess of #250m.

Jo Malins

Jo qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the early 1970s and shortly after founded his own accountancy firm and until 1982 was in practice. His subsequent career included a financial directorship of a large Middle Eastern based project management company. In 1986 he became the chief executive of Telfos Plc, an engineering company quoted on the Official List. From 1993 to date, he has run his own coal processing equipment supply company and from 1998 to 2001 was managing director of Thurloe Corporate Finance (UK) Limited. Currently he is a non executive director of OreVest PLC, a mining investment company which is quoted on OFEX and an executive director of Cambrian Mining Plc, an AIM quoted mining investment company. He is also the finance director of Asia Energy PLC, a recent admission to AIM .
