Well, I bought these back in March 2001 (£4K, i.e. 4000 shares), which effectively cost me £1.6K after taking into account CGT deferral and income tax relief. Since then they have showered me with lots of tax free divis, and NAV is more or less where it started, so I'm happy and I'm hangin' on in there.

niggle - yep, considering the tech boom was in full flow around 2000 these have done well. Must admit I nearly brought some of the murray vct's as well. They are as good as pigswill. regards

Agreed, I bought these 3 1/2 years ago and the performance has been pretty bad.

For anyone worried about the drop, this is due to a dividend of 7p being paid. Overall you are better off.
