Very quiet here considering obviously this has been a basket case for years but at this MC got to be worth the gamble especially with Redwood taking such a keen position.

Moneybarn is not subject to the fsa review because it did not engage in dic arrangements however they are duty bound to investigate complaints even though they are unfounded and coming from third party participants and that’s expensive. Vanquis is currently taking legal measures and in talks with the fsa to mitigate the ridiculous claims. In my view these third parties should be held responsible for the cost when they no the situation.

Re assertations have been made that Vanquis will be unaffected by the ongoing investigation into the current car finance situation but just looking back at the last statement from the company results it states quite clearly that that part of the business has some problems as regards the same.

To my mind there is still cause for concern and it can t be ignored


FCA comments yesterday have put in a hitch in proceedings

Keep a weather eye out and proceed very carefully over the next few weeks.

Don t believe the hype.

It might well be that the price is being kept low to accumulate a greater position here not exactly hard to do either the stock is far from popular. I recently sold out at 56p and hoping it falls to 46p again before a possible and I think inevitable bid.
