Who produce 75% of Card Factories cards and intertwined with them, located 25 miles from Head Office is owned/directed by a family relation of Rymer. Just had a look at there accounts

Employers of lower paid employees are out of favour with NLW going up 10% next month. Probably a few negative business stories over the next 4 weeks. CARD have a history of being able to re-engineer cards to maintain margin, so I think they will trade well.
Higher wages, benefits and pensions along with the NI cut and relatively lower energy bills should result in a pre election consumer boost.

Card factory website is indicating continued growth on an already resilient model. I’ve taken a small 100k spread bet position. This will likely rerate before or after results but small caps are out of favor. Big rewards will take patience. Can’t lose at these levels. Risk free bet

Why would anyone pile in to the UK market when it treats profitable companies as it does.
It just seems all risk no reward period

fft - I think it was Legal and General that started the pile into the UK stockmarket at the bottom of the mid-70s. The market roughly doubled in a week.

Highest trading volume since the day after the January trading update. A lot went through at 92p and there appeared to be more available at 92p in the closing auction.

Yes looks like a triple bottom - anything over 106p would be a breakout.

Looks like a triple bottom in the last month or so. Will we get another swing trade upto 97-98 and back down again ?I can only think that fund redemptions caused by people moving money out of the UK to the USA markets can be responsible for this staggering share price under performance. It is sort of reminiscent of the mid 70's when the markets were very very low. Prudential then decided to buy the market big time, momentum occurred and everyone else piled in. Of course investing elsewhere was far more difficult in those days and UK pension funds had nearly all there assets in the UK.
