05/4/2024 09:54 | Exactly, a good move | scr1
05/4/2024 09:01 | I believe the ownership was some 83.2% (from the last Annual Report) so unless I've missed something just tidying up the 17% odd | misterd1
05/4/2024 08:53 | They plan to delist Grindrod by paying a premium to shareholders, given Taylors hold most of the shares anyway . Delisting will save a lot of money as well as simplifying the structure of the company. Very good news for Taylor Maritime holders and indeed Grindrod holders who should bank a nice profit. Grindrod shares give no dividend and most shares hold by Taylors so were not going to move much so the whole thing makes good sense to me | scr1
05/4/2024 07:05 | In English anyone on the announcement? | rolo7
20/3/2024 18:20 | New big shareholder. In 1996, Tung was appointed chairman and CEO of Orient Overseas (International) Limited, one of the largest shipping companies in the world.[3] | rolo7
17/3/2024 22:34 | Even at these levels the share price is very low and way below value. Plus it is a young and growing company | sam 4224
17/3/2024 20:49 | It is still yielding 8% at this level so I don't see any reason to sell. | rcturner2
17/3/2024 10:35 | Very well done. If honest felt it was a little optimistic. However, next results should be much better given charter rates, ship values have strengthened, and the family have still being positively buying demonstrating confidence. Then post business Friday it announces a 200,000 share buy by the CEO. So the challenge is.... should you agree to accept it, what price target next and target date ? But as said, very well done with your forecast. | sam 4224
17/3/2024 07:04 | There goes my 80p prediction! | rcturner2
15/3/2024 19:17 | My guess is they see the company as hugely undervalued and are therefore taking advantage of the situation. Thebnext set of results should be really good such that the market will be unable to ignore them | sam 4224
15/3/2024 18:29 | Any another director buying are they trying to prevent takeover of company? Tmip pocket money for clarksons?! | rolo7
12/3/2024 17:59 | And another purchase today...SP finally creeping up. Hopefully keeps this up for a while yet. | marketmuser
11/3/2024 10:43 | With the company being well managed, debt down, a modern Japanese fleet with carriage capability up, and not least charter rate futures significantly up the share price is only going one way. So pleasing to have had a great acquisition NOT funded by share holding being diluted but financed by borrowing and paid back in under 18 months. I strongly feel this is company is going places and its early days as well ! | sam 4224
06/3/2024 07:45 | If you compare us to Tufton, they are on a 25% discount and we are on a 35% discount. I reckon 80p is a reasonable short term target here. | rcturner2
06/3/2024 07:09 | Indeed. With a following wind then look forward to the good ship Share Price sailing ahead ... | livewireplus
01/3/2024 10:49 | Who is he cant find any about him on Google? | rolo7
01/3/2024 08:10 | Cannot see any other ship owner worldwide this lowly rated with decent assets as well poor UK market for shares in general does not help .What might help is a US listing cannot see any sense for the company to maintain a London listing when they have so little idea how to value it. | wskill
01/3/2024 07:25 | Now we know where those shares have gone. | rcturner2
29/2/2024 10:19 | yep, still 200k of shares for fil to sell, i am in for 15k looks a bargain. Lovely dividend yield. | rolo7
29/2/2024 09:10 | See Fil has dumped it's 5.4% holding that's maybe why we are on 3 year lows hold a few US shipping cos and they are approaching highs ,so could we turn round and do the same well I am hoping so will add a few here now. | wskill
26/1/2024 12:50 | Some research dated Jan 2024. Gives a decent overview of this proposition. | hugepants
26/1/2024 08:53 | Looks a real bargain after today's NAV, debt and charter rates update. Not sure the market will continue to be able to justify such a huge discount much longer. | marketmuser
26/1/2024 08:33 | I have doubled my stake today. NAV is about 106p and the dividend is about 6.5p a year so almost 10% yield and massive discount to NAV. The factsheet is available here: hxxps://taylormariti | rcturner2
26/1/2024 08:06 | NAV update and dividend. Sounds pretty good. NAV zoomed up 3.9% over the quarter. | hugepants |
