Finablr is by most measures a spectacular case study. From auditors EY, to the LSE, FCA, FRC and others, Finablr's high profile collapse so soon after a London IPO, together with the lack of any apparent redress for investors, has badly damaged the City of London's reputation.

Whilst the many well paid advisors, board members and regulators will have long since moved on, small investors and former employees are left to carry the scars from this debacle for many years to come.

Finablr Plc shares were suspended from trading on the London Stock Exchange on 16 March 2020 due to concerns over its financial position.

The company has now entered into administration. This means that the administrators, PKF GM, will take over the running of the company.

Trading in the shares of the company will continue to be suspended.

These investors and the board of directors are all hand in glove- these people are cheats of the first order- in case of it’s sister concern NMC the class action suit in the us has been settled - at least they have got some money. In our case these cheats are just eating away our money, dont know what the regulator is doing.

What lessons can be learnt from this?

Never invest in Abu Dhabi?

I think we need to squarely blame the regulator in this case, this company went bust in less Than a year of listing - don’t know what kind of due diligence the fca had done before listing, more over post the fiasco they seem to be sitting over this for ages, they are solely responsible for this entire issue.
