Valeura energy.. I wonder how high is the stress level in that office right.. Over 40 mil in cash / never reduced a penny on anyones salary last 2 years / no news / COVID 19 was held as an excuse and now natural gas price is highest ever been, yet NO OFFICIAL PARTNER. I would like to hear few opinions :) please share. Don't know if I should invest in Trillion energy international or / valeura energy .. they both by / in turkey

It's about time for an update on the producing assets deal.

Clearly there has been slippage, but the company at least restates both parties are committed to the deal. Looks like rubber stamping delays.

Deals are now starting to be done in Turkey however as seen at UKOG.

Hardly exciting at VLU at present. Will the acquisition be worth the wait?

Quality of the BOD suggests it will be....but we'll see.

In the meantime the TSX is tanking somewhat with a volume spike of sells.

It seems people were looking for more from this RNS, especially after such a wait.

I can understand that. If we are being honest the statement in this RNS is pretty much a repeat of what they were stating last autumn.

Value of assets held for sale 22, liabilities associated with that 10.

That's high, do you think those liabilities go as part of the sale ?

Do you have any thoughts on that ?

shabadi - update out and broadly as we anticipated.

A few positive takeaways.

*Good to learn for sure that the sale to TBNG is progressing and is just awaiting the final sign-off with both parties committed to the sale.

*I had not realised we will still benefit from the revenue from those shallow assets until they're officially signed over.

* And M&A activity is as I thought - they are determined to find the perfect deal and wont be rushed, which reflects their commitment to providing shareholder value.

Progress is slow however on all of these areas and I'm unsure about the impairment charge. Will read through again.

Q4 results and an update statement, but that's probably it. They would not hold back an RNS. I doubt the sale is going to close Q1 as we are running out of time. Will be looking at cash burn and any positive updates in the Directors statements.
